Bird photography is one of the most popular genres of nature photography. This should come as no surprise since birding is one of the world’s most popular pastimes!

Our bird photo tours visit many of the same places as traditional birding tours, but we take as much time as we need to make photographs instead of trying to see as many species as possible. The goal of each tour is to photograph a wide variety of birds in many different natural habitats. To that end, every tour is accompanied by a birding guide who finds and identifies subjects for our photography.

Our photo tours are organized similarly to our birding tours and are led by Pedro Juan Solis.

We organize all ground travel using safe minibuses and, where necessary, 4-wheel-drive-vehicles. We arrange strategic rest stops during travel to break up the trips and give you the optimal, diverse birding experience. We stay primarily in beautiful and peaceful eco-lodges and hotels, right on the border with primary forests and incredible possibilities for exploring the flora and fauna of the area. Vegetarian meals are always made available upon request and for the safety of our guests we always bring first aid equipment and a cellular phone along wherever we go.
